What does my child need for Sandlot?

  • Players should bring their own gloves, and bat.
  • Catchers should bring their protective cups and catching equipment, if they want to catch.
  • Players should wear a hat and sunscreen.
  • Baseball pants, socks and cleats are encouraged, but not required.

What does my child need for Camp?

  • Players should bring their own gloves, bat, and helmet to camp.
  • Catchers should bring their protective cups and catching equipment, if they want to catch.
  • Players should wear a hat and sunscreen.
  • Baseball pants, socks and cleats are encouraged, but not required.
  • Campers are responsible for packing their own lunch, snacks, and drinks. NOTE: Due to COVID, water bottles or thermoses must be labeled with campers’ names.

Is Coach Ballgame available for one-on-one training?

Coach Ballgame no longer offers one-on-one training, but kids get a whole lot of individualized attention at Sandlot, especially when they come for a whole season (8-week session).

Is Coach Ballgame available to hire for my private event?

Yes! Coach Ballgame is available for speaking engagements, in person coaches training, and training large groups (such as a city little league). While his schedule is limited, it’s best to reach out through our contact form with the details of your event, including date options and times, and he will get back to you within 48 hours.
